Create and Customize Landing Pages
Trimlink allows you to transform your custom-built templates into live, branded Landing Pages. Instead of redirecting visitors to an external website, this feature routes your audience directly to the beautiful pages you designed inside the Trimlink Template Builder.

Getting Started
To turn a template into a live landing page:
- Open your Dashboard.
- Select your desired workspace.
- Navigate to Landing Page from the left sidebar menu.
- Click the Create Landing Page button.
Important Note: Unlike standard short links, you do not need to paste an external Destination URL. Instead, you will select one of your saved templates at the end of this process to act as your destination.
Phase 1: Core Details
Begin by providing the foundational organization for your new page.
- Link Title: Enter a descriptive name to help you identify this landing page inside your dashboard (e.g., Summer Promo Page or Event Registration). This title is strictly for your internal organization and is not visible to your visitors. This is Optional.
Phase 2: Branding & Organization
Customize how your landing page URL appears to the public and how it is organized internally.
1. Domain & Slug Configuration
- Domain: Choose the base domain for your landing page (e.g.,
trimlink.aior your own custom domain likego.yourbrand.com). - URL Slug: Customize the ending portion of your URL to make it memorable and relevant to the template content (e.g.,
trimlink.ai/summer-saleinstead of a random string).- Length: Must be between 3 and 30 characters.
- Allowed Characters: Only letters, numbers, hyphens (
-), and underscores (_). Spaces are strictly prohibited.
2. Custom Header (Brand Identity)
Enable the Header option to inject a brand identifier immediately after the domain and before the slug. This is highly recommended if you are using a generic domain but want to maintain brand transparency with your audience (e.g., trml.in/YourBrand/summer-sale).
- Length: Maximum of 20 characters.
- Allowed Characters: Only letters, numbers, hyphens (
-), and underscores (_). Spaces are strictly prohibited.
3. Organization Tools
- Tags: Apply keywords (e.g., marketing, social-media, q3-promo) to easily filter and search through massive asset libraries later.
- Collections: Group related landing pages together. If a collection doesn't exist, click New to create one instantly (e.g., creating an Event Pages collection).
Phase 3: QR Code Generation
Bridge offline and online marketing by attaching a dynamic QR code to your landing page. Toggle Enable QR Code to reveal the customization suite.
- QR Customization: Modify the QR style, eye shape, border style, and precise brand colors to match the design of your template.
- Add Logo on QR: Enable this feature to upload and embed your company logo directly into the center of the QR code to build trust and brand recognition.
A live preview of your QR code will update instantly as you adjust these settings.
Phase 4: Security & Tracking (Advanced)
Protect your custom templates and gather precise analytics by enabling our advanced routing tools.
1. Password Protection
Toggle Password Protected to lock your landing page. Visitors will be prompted to enter your secure password before the template loads. This is ideal for internal company resources, exclusive client portals, or private event details.
- Length: Your password must be between 6 and 255 characters long.
2. Link Expiration
Toggle Link Expiry to automatically disable the landing page after a specific event concludes. You can configure the exact End Date and Time for when the page should expire. (Note: The moment you save the page acts as the official start time). Once expired, visitors will no longer be able to access the template.
3. GPS Tracking
Turn on GPS Enabled to collect highly accurate visitor location data. (Note: This requires explicit browser permission from the visitor and is excellent for regional marketing or local foot-traffic analytics).
Phase 5: Branded Landing Page
Because this is a landing page, there is no external destination URL to paste. Instead, you will link directly to a custom template from your workspace to act as your branded destination.
Select Your Template
- Scroll down to the Branded Landing Page section at the bottom of the form.
- Browse your available template library. Your most recently created templates will automatically display at the top. If you have a large library, you can click view more load more templates of your page.
- Click to select the specific published template you want this URL to display.
- If you did not have template you can click top right button Design from scratch that redirect to create new template page.
Finalize
Once you have selected your template and configured your desired settings, simply review your information and click the Create Page button.
Your custom template is now live! The newly generated URL (and optional QR code) is ready to be shared across your social channels, email campaigns, and printed materials.
