Workspace Overview
A Trimlink Workspace is the main building block of your account. Think of a workspace as a secure, separate room. Inside this room, you can build your short links, landing pages, and track analytics without mixing up your data.
Whether you run an agency with many clients, a large company with different teams, or a small business with multiple brands, Workspaces keep your digital assets completely organized and private.
Why Use Workspaces?
As your business grows, keeping your projects and teams apart becomes very important for security. Workspaces give you the highest level of organization in your account.
By using Workspaces, you can:
- Keep Data Separate: Keep client links, custom domains, and click analytics completely apart so your data stays private.
- Control Team Access: Assign specific team members or Groups to a workspace so they only see the data they are allowed to see.
- Organize Your Links: Stop dashboard clutter. Build your Collections, Landing Pages, and Short Links inside clear, separate areas.
- Build Custom Brands: Attach specific Custom Domains and apply unique brand designs that belong to just one project or client.
- See the Big Picture: Super Admins can use the "All Workspaces" option to see all company data at once, while regular users stay safely in their assigned spaces.
Common Use Cases
Agency Client Management
Create a strict wall between different clients. This makes sure their tracking data, templates, and custom domains never mix together.
- Examples: Acme Corp Campaigns, Global Tech Ads, Startup Brand Assets.
Internal Teams
Separate company data by department. This keeps your internal tools organized and controls exactly who can see them.
- Examples: HR Department Portal, Sales Team Documents, IT Support Links.
Different Brands or Products
Manage multiple products or sister companies under one main account. Their marketing analytics and domain names will never get confused.

The Workspace Lifecycle
Workspaces are designed to be an easy, secure part of your daily Trimlink workflow:
1. Creation & Access
- Create: Build a new, private workspace and give it a clear name and description right away.
- Assign Access: Pick existing team members and Groups from your main Organization pool and give them access to this specific workspace.
- Edit & Delete: Update workspace details as projects change. If a client contract ends, you can permanently delete the workspace to keep your account clean. (Note: Deleting a workspace destroys all links, templates, and analytics inside it forever).
2. Navigation & Security
- Easy Switching: Team members who work in multiple workspaces can quickly jump between them using the Workspace Selector. They never have to log out.
- Track Activity: Monitor workspace actions using Audit Logs to keep your team secure and follow the rules.
- Total Data Protection: Workspaces act like locked vaults. Regular team members simply cannot see or access data in a workspace unless you explicitly invite them to it.
By building your projects inside dedicated Workspaces, you create a highly professional, secure setup that grows with your business while protecting your most important data.
