Authentication Overview

Welcome to the Trimlink authentication guide. This section provides everything you need to know about accessing your account, managing your profile, and keeping your link management dashboard secure.

Supported Register Or Login Methods

You can create an account using your standard email address or save time by connecting an existing social account. Trimlink supports:

  • Google: Fast one-click sign-in.
  • Facebook: Connect securely with your Facebook account.
  • X (Twitter): Instant sign-up via your X profile.
  • LinkedIn: Professional and business-friendly login.
  • GitHub: Preferred setup for developers and technical teams.

Onboarding & Workspaces

Once you register, the system will guide you through a simple onboarding process. You will be asked to:

  1. Provide your Company Name and Logo.
  2. Select your City and Country.
  3. Verify your Mobile Number.
  4. Enter a Referral Source.

After you complete these steps, Trimlink automatically creates your default workspace so you can start managing links immediately.

Profile Settings

Inside your dashboard, you can manage your identity and preferences under the Profile Settings page:

  • Account Details: View your display name, mobile number, and email. Note: For security reasons, your account email address cannot be changed once verified.
  • Password Management: Update your password anytime by providing your current password and confirming a new, strong one.
  • Regional Settings: Set your local Timezone and preferred Date/Time format so your link analytics match your local time.

Account Security (2FA)

Protecting your data is our priority. We recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

  • Enable 2FA: When you turn this on, a modal will appear with a QR Code and a Secret Key. Simply scan the code with your authenticator app (like Google Authenticator) and enter the verification code.
  • Disable 2FA: You can turn this off at any time from your security settings if you have access to your account.
